Russ Adams was born and raised in North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was an All-America and All-ACC performer for the Tar Heels? Baseball program. After his junior season, Russ was selected in the 1st Round of the 2002 Major League Baseball draft by the Toronto Bluejays. During his 10 year professional career, which included 5 seasons in the Majors with Toronto, Russ developed a passion for Real Estate investing. Upon retirement in 2011, he returned to Chapel Hill to earn his bachelors degree in Communication Studies before settling in Charlotte, NC in 2014.
Since his move to Charlotte, Russ has transitioned into a career in Real Estate as a broker with Yancey Realty, servicing the Greater Charlotte and surrounding market.
